I'm a UK-based freelance photographer and photojournalist. I specialise in social documentary, environment and performing arts. My aim is to put photography to good use in capturing human stories.

I have a background in campaigns and communications, a degree in Philosophy & Politics and a masters in environment and energy studies. I use this experience to inform my photography and improve the stories I tell with it. I believe that good photography doesn't just come from being able to work well with cameras; it's really about being able to work well with people. I've never studied photography academically, but have worked extensively with campaigning groups, charities, art organisations and many others.

If you'd like to collaborate, organise a workshop, discuss prices or use my images - please drop me a line.

And if like me, you think that photography can be a brilliant tool for telling vital stories and creating positive change, why not have a look at my very occasionally social documentary photography blog, Social Eye.
